Nicola & Bill’s wonderful evening celebrations
What to do when the pandemic spoils your wedding plans!
Do it all again of cause! Well almost.
Bill contacted me a few weeks ago to photograph his wedding evening.
The only thing was they got married a year ago but because at that time covid restrictions meant they could only have 15 people with them on the day. Obviously this was a huge compromise. So, once restrictions lifted somewhat they organised a larger bash to celebrate their day all over again, this time with all their nearest and dearest.
It was just like they had got married earlier that day. Both Bill and his lovely wife Nicola were in their wedding outfits, as were the bridal party of best men, ushers and bridesmaids.
It was a superb evening with a lot of thought put into it. And just like a wedding evening there was a best man speech (with naked cardboard cut of groom!). There was a cutting of the cake and there was a first dance.
How amazing though for Nicola to be able to wear her wedding dress again! How many brides get to do this?
It was a really fun evening with lots of great food and fantastic people all there to celebrate what they were unable to one year ago.
