Great location, Great couple and the last of the good weather!

Driving up to Villa Farm in York and what a fantastic location this venue enjoys. The views are stunning and it’s lovely and peaceful with a farm setting, surrounded by open fields.

On arrival I immediately met with Nicole their wedding planner for the day and got a guided tour of the venue and what was going to be happening where. All the staff here are so helpful and so so nice, definitely a huge bonus.

With the weather being so great, it was to be an outdoor wedding. I love outdoor ceremonies so much. It’s so nice to be outside in the fresh air and all the space, especially for myself being able to get in amongst the action with relative ease and get lots of different angles and perspectives.

One of the special moments of the day which none of the guests knew about was a beautiful white barn owl that delivered the ring to the best man. It certainly made for some great shots as it swooped past all the guests and landed perfectly on the best mans arm.

After the ceremony it was canapes and fizz and to give the bride and groom some time with their friends and family. Afterwards it was time for group shots and then couple shots. Villa Farm has lots of little areas to explore and fields to walk through which made for some great natural photographs of Charlotte and Adam chatting and enjoying each others company as Husband and Wife.

The evening was a wild one! soon after the first dance the guests took to the stage and an impromptu Irish dance irrupted. Again, I love spontaneous moments like this and photographically it looks awesome.

The last part of the night was a sparkler wedding exit! The perfect way to end a fantastic day.
