Mary-Jane and Mark’s Wedding Day in North Yorkshire
A lovely intimate wedding day with two people absolutely smitten with each other!
Not only were these guys organising a wedding but had the added pressure of moving house as well. It’s a good job both (mostly MJ 😉 ) are super organised people. When we had a meet up to chat about their big day I remember the living room being covered with post it notes, chalk boards and plans everywhere! Things that need doing, things that are BEING done and things that ARE done. I think everyone needs an MJ and Mark in their lives helping them to organise stuff, seriously life would be a breeze…I’ll ask them!
The morning of the wedding was at their new home as they had managed to move just in time. This was pretty handy as the church and the venue were both a stones throw away and made everything ultra convenient. It was a pretty busy household with all the boy’s together getting ready and sorting music playlists while eating breakfast and putting on suits.
The service had a a really nice feel to it and it included a turn from Mark’s talented brother providing music and comedy on the piano. It was actually so entertaining I had to remind myself that there were photographs that needed capturing!
After the ceremony it was over to Fantino’s for food and drinks. It’s a little gem of a place which had been transformed and extended with a tipi which turned into the ultimate chill out den later on in the evening and looked awesome like a little cosy hide away. The food was amazing and with everyone full and enjoying a drink it was time for speeches. Which didn’t disappoint with some touching moments, some laugh out loud moments and a lot of love in the room, mostly between MJ and Mark taking to the microphone to see out the speeches together as a couple. As they did on the dance floor seeing out a wonderful day with a slow romantic first dance later joined by all their family and friends and then rocking the night away.
Thanks ever so much guys it really was a joy and really special to be able to share and capture your day for you.
Congratulations.
