Lauren and James’s Wedding Day at Sandburn Hall

It’s a beautiful sunny morning and a lovely day for today’s wedding at Sandburn Hall.

It seems like such a long time ago when I first met Lauren and James at a wedding fayre and loved how warm and friendly they both were. After chatting with them for a while about all their plans I really hoped I’d be able to capture their day for them both.

We also arranged an engagement shoot at the Yorkshire arboretum. Such a great way to get to know each better and a great experience for couples wanting to get some practice in before their big day.

Arriving at Lauren’s family home for the preparation shots and there was a nice relaxed feel as everyone was busy with hair and make up. I was quickly introduced to everyone including triple H or Hannah, Hannah and Hannah also known as Lauren’s school friends already taking bridesmaid duties seriously with a steady flow of bubbly.

At Sandburn the ceremony looked so impressive against the backdrop of the main hall with constant sunshine warming everyone up nicely through those big windows and great views. Straight after the ceremony the confetti was discreetly passed around all the guests and thrown over the new Mr and Mrs as they walked down the aisle together. A really special moment!

As the daylight was drawing to a close it gave way to an amazing sunset on full view for all the guests as everyone enjoyed the wedding breakfast.

We all know what comes after the meal and that’s speeches. And they didn’t disappoint. Laughter and tears from the father of the bride and lots of funny and embarrassing moments delivered expertly by the grooms brother.

Drinks flowing, dance floor full everyone enjoying themselves, perfect.

Many thanks Lauren and James on a great day and congratulations to you both.
