“Thank you again for your work at our wedding a few weeks ago. The pictures are incredible!”
What a lovely couple, very laid back and really good fun.
The day started at Ellie and Martyn’s place all getting ready together and then quickly over to York Registry office. The bride and groom arriving in style and turning heads through York in their chauffeur driven classic Bentley.
A really lovely ceremony with all their dearest friends and family members took place and Ellie glided down the aisle looking really incredible in her vintage green dress and lacy white cape flowing behind her.
Afterwards we all hit the gardens behind the Registry office for some fun and relaxed photographs with their families and then it was back into the lovely old Bentley and on the road to a little leafy spot well known to our friendly driver.
To this day I couldn’t tell you where the driver took us but I have to hand it to him it was a very attractive spot and he definitely earned his few minutes for his own pictures bless him.
The Grange Hotel in York was the venue for the wedding reception and what a beautiful place to relax with your nearest and dearest. There was an afternoon tea theme to the reception followed by the cutting of a huge wedding cake made entirely out of their favourite cheeses. It had layers of soft and hard cheeses with all the different colours and textures accompanied by a rather delicious selection of biscuits.
On mass we all then made the short journey to Brewdog on Micklegate and the guys had reserved one the rooms for everyone to chill in and have a few of the many lovely beers on offer. It was a nice relaxed end to a very chilled day and a lovely wedding to have captured.
Many thanks Ellie and Martyn and congratulations.
