Is it a bird, is it a plane? no it’s the groom! I have to say this was my first wedding shoot where the groom arrived in a helicopter. There was no upstaging his bride though as Jenny arrived in a vintage Bentley and just looked stunning in a beautifully detailed Justin Alexander dress.
When the guys arrived and were walking towards their awaiting guests from the helicopter it did actually look like a scene from the A-Team! It was brilliant.
The room at Harewood House where the ceremony took place looked amazing and had loads of lovely delicate touches such as flowers, fairy lights, candles and lace decorating the surroundings. Their son Freddie looked a little bobby dazzler in his suit and with all the attention as he arrived with the bridesmaids he did really well, although with perfect comedy timing during the service he did say he didn’t like weddings which would of made a great ‘You’ve been framed’ video.
The sun continued to shine and the gardens at the back of the house are always impeccably attended and provided a great backdrop of colour to their photographs.
The evenings entertainment was in the form of a really great band playing in the open air of Harewood House’s courtyard. With a lovely warm evening, a bit more food and some great tunes everyone was getting in the mood and it was going to be a really good night.
Having gone to high school with Jenny and Scott many moons ago it was great to see some familiar faces from back in my high school days and catch up with people I haven’t seen for a long time. Jenny and Scott look so happy together and I wish them an amazing future.
Congratulations to Jenny and Scott.
