“They’ve arrived thank you! And we loved the mini pictures that you sent.”
This wedding will have you smiling from start to finish! Chloe and Edward’s wedding day began both at Chloe’s family home for the girls and the ever impressive medieval Lendal Tower for the boys. Whenever I photograph at Lendal Tower a visit to the rooftop is a must and the views over the city are stunning.
The ceremony took place at the beautiful St Peter’s school chapel which looks as impressive on the outside as it does on the inside. With Chloe having been a student at St Peter’s school the ceremony and the spirit of the occasion had an extra significance. After the ceremony it was out into the sunshine for a few group shots on the lawn in front of the school and then some quiet moments with the bride and groom and camera! What a great place to explore with Chloe and Edward their couple shots. So many interesting and quiet little places to get creative with. These moments were quickly followed by a brilliant confetti shot including all the guests creating a never ending confetti monsoon.
With a glass of champagne in hand the car was soon whisking them both over to the Hospitium were the rest of day would be spent and for all the guest to gather for the wedding breakfast. Every little detail had been carefully thought out and the venue looked the perfect place for them both to celebrate their wedding day. A medieval setting, amazing food and super friendly and professional staff are always things that will be guaranteed with the Hospitium in York and today was no exception.
The evening brought music, fun and a few more drinks. Time to let your hair down and enjoy!
Congratulations to you both and thank you to all your family and friends for making me feel so welcome it really was a pleasure.
